Meet Sean

I'm a busy wife, mother of four and grandmother but I still make fitness a priority. From my days as a size double zero, 100 lb Baltimore City Police Officer to my years as a mother in a size 12, my weight and activity levels have fluctuated just like it has for many of you!

 

I've tried it all:

  • Diets

  • Pills

  • Shakes

  • Roller derby on-skate workouts

  • Exhausting gym workouts

All with little or no results to show for in the end.

 

I know that being active just isn't enough! Eating the right foods at the right time of day is just as important as the physical aspect. By making changes to my diet and sticking to a workout plan that challenged me, yet didn't discourage or deter, I was finally able to continue on my fitness and weight loss journey. Now fitness is a part of my daily life.

 


Do this for you and love yourself!!! I had back surgery, hip surgery, chronic pain and limited movement, even physical therapy exercises hurt and I honestly didn’t think I could work out without hurting something new and Sean worked through that and now I’m doing so much more than I ever thought possible and more!! Sean took my goals and made them reality, I said “I don’t want to be skinny, I want to be healthy” and no judgement ever- just encouragement and the ladies all support me and each other.

I've been training with Sean and the group for over 4 years although it seems like yesterday. After having breast cancer and the associated meds afterward, I was heavy, bloated, tired and discouraged. I wanted my strength and energy back. Sean was embracing her own journey of strength and growth with Baddass Bodies. I found a safe space to work toward goals and a space that was encouraging and family friendly -- don't have a sitter? Bring the kids to class! They can work out too! There is a great respect for personal journey. Where you are at and where you want to be --that's different for each one of us. The encouragement, love and support of Sean and members to each other is amazing. Personally, I was able to enter a Black Belt program and am currently a Blue Belt. The training at Baddass Bodies helped me meet the physical challenges and the encouragement from everyone helped my confidence. I really can't say enough good things about the gym and I'm so proud of Sean's growth and path -- I hope she knows how many people she has touched.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Seanea for over 10yrs and she has truly touched my life. She has a big, bright, beautiful, personality. There is never a dull moment in her presence and she's always your biggest fan/ support. Baddass Bodies is a fun, motivational and hard working environment. The other members have become like a family to me over the years.
